Instructor and Tutor Terms
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms apply to anyone who uses an instructor or tutor account on NREMT Tutoring. They add to our Terms of Service, which still apply to you. If the two ever conflict, these terms win for anything involving students.
1. What you can see
Once a student is on your roster, you can see their name and email, how many questions they’ve answered and their accuracy, how much time they’ve studied, the topics they miss most, their homework and quiz results, their exam date, and any exam result they report to us. We also email you when some of these change. You never see a student’s password or payment details.
2. How you can use it
Use a student’s information only to teach that student in your class or your tutoring sessions. You may not:
- copy it, export it, download it in bulk, or screenshot it to pass around;
- sell it, or share it with anyone who isn’t helping you teach that student;
- use it for marketing, recruiting, research, or anything else that isn’t teaching them;
- use it to contact a student about something that has nothing to do with their course;
- put it into an AI tool or any other service outside NREMT Tutoring.
3. How students get on your roster
If you tutor for NREMT Tutoring, a student is added to your roster when they book a session with you, and comes off 90 days after their last session with you.
If you teach a class, a student is added when they join with your class code. Only give your code to people who are actually in your class, and remove anyone who leaves it.
We’ll take a student off your roster if they ask us to.
4. Your account
Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your login or let anyone else use it. If you think someone else got into your account, change your password and tell us right away.
5. Your school’s rules
If you teach for a school, college, fire department, or other agency, you still have to follow its rules on student privacy, including FERPA where it applies. These terms don’t replace those rules, and nothing here lets you do something your school wouldn’t allow.
6. Materials you upload
Upload only material you wrote or are licensed to use with your class. Do not upload:
- a publisher’s test bank, quiz, exam, or answer key;
- questions from a real NREMT exam, or questions remembered from one;
- anything that contains patient information.
Any license you hold for a file is between you and the school or publisher that granted it. We delete each file within 24 hours of upload.
Questions we write for you. The questions we write from your material are yours to use. You may edit them, assign them to your students on NREMT Tutoring, and use them in your own teaching. Read each question before you assign it, since they can contain mistakes. We do not claim them, add them to our question bank, or sell them. Only you and your students can see them.
You may not:
- present them as official NREMT questions, or say they came from a real exam;
- sell or publish them as a test bank, study guide, or book;
- post them where the public can see them.
7. If something goes wrong
Tell us within 48 hours if you think student information was misused, shared by mistake, or seen by someone who shouldn’t have it. Email nremttutoring@gmail.com.
8. Our part
We can suspend or remove your access if you break these terms. We may also review how student information is being used on your account to make sure these terms are followed.
9. When you stop
When your access ends, delete any student information you kept outside NREMT Tutoring, like notes or saved emails, unless your school requires you to keep it.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll ask you to accept them again before you can keep using your account.
