Your Paramedic Coach
I’ve spent six years in EMS and tutored hundreds of EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic students, so I know exactly where the NREMT trips people up, because I’ve watched it happen over and over.
Same test, same trap, over and over
Semester after semester I saw the same thing. Students who knew their material cold would sit down for the NREMT and miss questions they should have gotten right. It was never a knowledge problem. Nobody had taught them how to read a National Registry question, or how to find the “most correct” answer when three of them sound right.
Once you learn to break a question down the same way every time, read the last line first, follow the order of operations on your skills sheet, and cut the two weakest answers before you argue about the last two, the exam stops feeling like a trap. That shift is what I coach in every session.
Where I come from
My first two years in EMS were spent as an EMT with a fire department. Since then I’ve worked as a Paramedic for a fire department and a private ambulance company, I’ve assisted in proctoring National Registry EMT and Paramedic practical exams, and I taught BLS, ACLS, and PALS in the classroom for over two years.
Tutoring started as a part-time way to make extra income, and it turned into a mission. There are a tremendous number of EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic students struggling to get through accelerated or online courses, and plenty more who pass the class but still can’t answer NREMT-style questions. I’ve spent thousands of hours helping students close exactly that gap.
How I tutor, and what to expect
Every session runs the same play I’ve taught hundreds of students. Find the gaps, fix them, and learn to decode the questions. There’s no firehose of facts. You go after exactly what’s holding your score back.
Find the gaps
Sessions start from your NREMT Tutoring diagnostic, so your weakest categories are clear before you even meet.
Decode the questions
You take confusing exam-style questions apart together until you can connect what you know to what's being asked.
Build to exam day
You leave each session knowing exactly what to drill next, so progress compounds week over week.
